Fair comparison

Rezervos vs TheFork: which one to pick?

Short answer

TheFork is first and foremost a portal that brings you new guests, and you pay for it with a fee on the bookings it sends through its app. Rezervos is a tool you run under your own name for a fixed monthly fee with no commission — but it will not bring you new guests on its own.

Where TheFork is better

This is the most honest difference in the whole comparison: TheFork has a reach a small business will never build alone. Millions of users, a mobile app and visibility inside Tripadvisor. If you are a new restaurant in a tourist area and your main problem is filling the room, a commission on a guest who would never have walked in otherwise can be money well spent.

Where Rezervos is better

Rezervos starts from the opposite assumption: you already have the guests, you are just serving them over the phone for no reason, and paying a commission on a regular customer's booking makes no sense. Bookings arrive on your own site, under your own domain, for a fixed amount that does not grow with how full you are.

Choose TheFork if…

…you mainly need a stream of new guests, you are in a tourist area, and a per-booking commission pays for itself.

Choose Rezervos if…

…you have regular customers, you want bookings with no commission under your own brand, and predictable costs.

What Rezervos costs

Grow 449 CZK, Pro 699 CZK and Max 1290 CZK per month. No commission on bookings, no setup fee, cancel any time at the end of the paid period. The price list is public and complete — nothing hidden behind a contact form.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, and it makes sense. Plenty of venues keep the portal as a source of new guests and run their own bookings themselves, so they do not pay commission on repeat visits. Just watch your capacity so the two channels do not overlap.

Count the bookings the portal sends you per month and multiply by the per-cover fee. Once that exceeds the monthly plan price, the flat fee is cheaper — for venues with regular customers that usually happens quickly.

Not directly. Rezervos builds you a website that gets indexed in Google and Maps under your name, but it has no guest-facing portal of its own. If your main pain is an empty room, changing the booking system alone will not fix it.

Do not trust the table — try it

The demo is a live system and it is open without signing up. A minute is enough to tell whether Rezervos fits you better than what you use today.
