Reception switches between the patient at the desk and the ringing phone. An online booking interrupts neither.
The paper diary
Only whoever sits next to it can see it. Moving an appointment means rewriting it and making calls.
Patients who never arrive
An unused slot cannot be filled afterwards. A reminder the day before is the cheapest way to have fewer of them.

Yes. Each has their own schedule and their own list of appointment types.
Nothing happens to it. After fourteen days the trial moves to the free plan on its own, so the site and the bookings stay up and only the limits come down, to 30 bookings a month and five rooms. You pay nothing up front and enter no card details.
