An estimate at a 20–40% reduction in no-shows — roughly what is reported for automatic confirmations and a reminder before the visit. This is a model, not a promise; the real effect depends on your type of venue and on how you communicate with guests today.

The calculation uses the numbers you enter and assumes 52 weeks a year. It excludes lost margin from repeat visits and the cost of ingredients wasted on a guest who never came — the real loss tends to be higher than what is shown here.

What to do with the result

  1. 1

    Find your real number

Track no-shows for a month. The figure people guess is usually about half the truth.

  2. 2

    Turn on confirmations and reminders

An automatic email or SMS the day before is the cheapest measure there is, and it works for most venues.

  3. 3

Ask for a deposit on risky slots

New Year's Eve, large groups, tasting menus. You do not have to apply it across the board — just where the loss hurts most.

Frequently asked questions

It is a conservative estimate at the low end of what the industry reports for introducing automatic confirmations and reminders. We deliberately avoid the higher figures you find in vendor marketing — we would rather the result surprised you upwards than downwards.

Yes — read "covers" as "booked appointments" and average spend as the price of the treatment. For services with long appointments the loss tends to bite harder, because an empty slot cannot be filled at short notice.

No. The whole calculation runs in your browser, nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored. Close the page and the numbers are gone.

Confirmations and reminders come as standard in Rezervos

Automatic booking confirmation, a reminder before the visit, and cancellation without a phone call — that is the part that brings the number above down.
